In depth

Verdict

A wide-open heat featuring a host of up-and-coming types who could all go on to better things. Beauport goes extremely well for his conditional pilot and the combination should make a good fist of following up their success in the EBF Novices' Handicap Final at Sandown. However, he has been hit with a 10lb rise and may find one or two too good on this quicker surface. Global Society is lightly-raced this term and should be fresh and well for this assignment, but JAVA POINT is a value option after scoring with something to spare over a similar a trip and ground latest. He should be competitive off a mark of 121. Proschema is interesting for the Skeltons, whilst Here Comes McCoy, Quinta Do Mar and Winds Of Fire are all progressive and at the right end of the weights.
