In depth

Verdict

It will be interesting to see how the market shapes up regarding Mark Johnston's newcomer Feeling Wonderful but she is likely to need the run anyway and may not appreciate the testing conditions so preference is for Nota Liberata, who gets the vote over Bert's Memory. Admittedly, the selection has had plenty of chances but the experience that he has gained may prove to be invaluable under such testing conditions and George Moore's colt showed a liking for similar ground when second over course and distance last time. Graceful Steps is entitled to improve for his two runs but needs to, while Streamer is not certain to appreciate this longer trip in the ground. Snow Dancer has shown a decent level of form in her two starts so far and has to be considered but Alan Berry's yard has hardly been finding winners easy to come by of late and a bigger threat may come from Kevin Ryan's Bert's Memory. He is strictly held by the selection on running here last time and a safer option looks to be with the aforementioned Nota Liberata.
