ROYAL CONNOISSEUR has gained reward for his consistency this summer, scoring twice on ground with some give. He can go in again though Percy's Gal, who wasn't far behind in second at Newcastle, won't be far away again. After scoring at Ripon in August, Pennine Warrior was well beaten in a better race at Doncaster before a narrow defeat at Newcastle and he should get into the frame.
