In depth

Verdict

NAVIGATE has only raced over 7f but has shown enough pace to suggest this shorter trip won't be a problem and it was an improved effort behind Mutamakkin at York last time so he should get off the mark. Nortron, who was making his debut on the Knavesmire that day, was around six lengths behind and looks held though he has more scope than the selection and should get closer. The remainder with experience have shown little so it could be Gary Moore's newcomer Harmony Bowl, a half-sister to four winners, who offers the main threat.
