It's difficult to know what to make of Vittachi, who won an apprentice race by 11l over 1m6f here last time. Paul Hanagan takes over here and his mount is obviously one to consider despite a 10lb rise in the weights. Al Shababiya had some decent form last season and makes his debut for new connections from a 2lb lower mark than when scoring at Wolverhampton. Without Equal won this a year ago and also scored at Hamilton in June. He's run poorly over hurdles recently but must be considered in such a poor event. STRONG KNIGHT has improved over hurdles recently and Tim Walford's charge looks ready to gain his first success on the Flat as he steps up in trip.
