Mon Brav suffered in the weights after his early season double but looked on the way back with a fine effort in the Bronze Cup at Ayr. Ballista has been keeping better company but has never raced beyond 6f while Kempton winner Celtic Sultan has done better on quicker going. Illustrious Prince is running quite well though he's now on a high mark but the lightly-raced Regeneration will be better for a recent run, his first since last November. The veteran BECKERMET has been in superb form for most of the summer and though 6lb higher for his latest C&D success he looks the one to be on.
