CHIEF DAN GEORGE should really be able to win this novices' contest, while Great Approach looks to be forecast material. The selection is officially rated almost a stone better than his opponents here and trip and ground hold no fears for Jimmy Moffatt's gelding. Thus far he has failed to show his 150 plus-rated hurdling ability over the bigger obstacles, but he has still produced the best form on offer here and he really ought to break his chasing maiden today. Great Approach might be the one to benefit if the favourite fails to sparkle. Nicky Richards has his string back in form and this eight-year-old improved from first run to second over fences at Ayr last time. If he can improve his jumping a little then he could have a big say here. Pass The Class has been showing steady improvement and there is no reason why there shouldn't be more to come this afternoon, though his task is plenty tough enough at the weights. Master Builder was well beaten over this sort of trip last time but might appreciate this ground more and has plenty of potential to do better for Ferdy Murphy, while Anglicisme has a task a tough as his name is to pronounce given that stamina over this far seems to be an issue. Chief Dan George can boss it.
