A weak handicap can be taken by the potentially progressive Vincenzio, while Turn Of Phrase and Leyte Gulf are not without a chance. The Charlie Egerton-trained selection is open to improvement after just four runs so far and showed he handles soft ground when making a decent handicap debut at Windsor when last seen out in July. A 2lb drop will also help, and Charlie Egerton looks to have found a race that the gelding can win. Turn Of Phrase has plummeted in the weights after a spell in the doldrums. Now back below his last winning mark, he acts well in blinkers and is a c&d scorer, so a return to form could come today. Leyte Gulf stays all day and acts with juice in the ground but his yard isn't red hot so for today we oppose. David Barker has his string in decent nick, so Wulimaster can be very competitive from this mark, while Hernando's Boy, a dual course winner looks to be racing over an inadequate trip and is also a bit high in the weights, so we'll take Vincenzio to score.
