A very ordinary race to open the card at Catterick can go to Wally Wonder, who should be able to confirm his superiority over Tiger Talk on these terms. However, it will not be plain sailing for the selection as Power And Demand and Strait Talking are others to throw into the mix. The latter makes the short journey from Middleham and arrives here after a series of fair performances in slightly tougher races. However, he would not want the ground to be too soft and he could be done for toe near the finish. Power And Demand goes well at this course and has to be considered from his light weight. However, he was well held off this mark at Sedgefield eleven days ago and others make more appeal. Tiger Talk being one, as his stable can never be ruled out when they target a race. However, the nine-year-old looks vulnerable off top weight and he may again find one or two have his measure close home. Therefore, we side with Wally Wonder, despite the fact that he failed to complete last time. It is worth noting that he was upped in class after winning at this level at Sedgefield last October and he found himself struggling against improving types. This is much more his grade and a better showing is anticipated from Wally Wonder this time around.
