ALWAYS DIXIE gets the vote just ahead of Bear Tobouggie in a relatively weak looking affair. Mark Johnston's entry beat Miss Wendy (amongst others) at Beverley last month and her last run at Wolverhampton can be forgiven as she favours the turf and was in good form prior to this. The trip shouldn't be a problem and this is an advantage over Bear Tobouggie who holds claims but isn't sure to enjoy the distance. She has lost comprehensively in both runs since a narrow win at Redcar and is opposable. Miss Whippy is consistent and may provide a challenge but ultimately hasn't looked like winning despite not finishing too far behind in third when last seen here.
