Once again a moderate event and a chance is taken with the Barry Hills trained Mabaahej, Beaumont Boy and Kunte Kinteh look to be the main rivals. It is hard to fancy the selection on the evidence of her last outing but her previous run behind Lucarno gives her very strong claims. She is given another chance in a race that shouldn't take a great deal of winning. Beaumont Boy has been well beaten in a handicap off a mark off 55 but still rates as a major threat. His latest effort in a maiden wasn't too bad and he could be capable of making the frame. Kunte Kinteh is rated higher but is well exposed and doesn't look straighforward. King's Attitude and March Mate are from in form yards and having only had the one outing they are open to improvement. So with the standard of opposition is hard to get away from the chances of Mabaahej and she gets the vote.
