Verdict

NORTONTHORPELEGEND completed a hat-trick with the minimum of fuss at Ayr after scoring over this track and trip. He was in touch when falling last time and can get back on the winning trail. I Just Know made all for a very easy victory at Doncaster and though handed an 11lb rise looks to be on the upgrade and will take some catching around this tight track. Hedley Lamarr has improved with each out over fences and has been given a chance by the assessor while Jac The Legend, who finished a close second in the race a year ago, is reunited with Tom Scudamore, who was on board that day. Brian Ellison's charge would have a big chance at these weights if regaining his form.
