Stormy Whatever led for much of the way and pulled right away from the opposition over this C&D last month when the ground was on the soft side. He's improving fast and looks sure to be in the shake-up but a real eye-catcher that day was VALLEY OF HOPE. Richard Fahey's grey was having his first start for a couple of months and was noted staying on nicely when the race was all over, suggesting a pull of 11lb with the winner will be enough to reverse placings and take this. The front-running Half A Billion has been fading over the minimum trip but this is an easy track and he may be able to stay in front for longer. Al Shaqab found Musselburgh's 5f too sharp after a debut success at Southwell and will definitely be suited by the extra here as will Cravat, who finished runner-up on the Edinburgh track and gained an opening success over Beverley's stiff 5f.
