Not one to spend too long on and Dugdale is surely the answer, with Land n' Stars and Margold likely to be his only serious challengers. The selection comes from the yard of Sir Mark Prescott, who does well at the course, and is totally unexposed, having been tried at up to a mile so far. This extra 6f will suit him much better on breeding and he would have to be nothing special to come out first time and land this. Nothing else in the race is likely to stay as well as the selection, with both Land n' Stars and Margold likely to be better over 10 or 12 furlongs. The former is by Mtoto and put up a good effort over 10 furlongs at Sandown last time. With improvement expected here, stamina has to be taken on trust if you are having a punt, and that could be just found wanting at the finish. The same can be said of Margold, and those two can fight out the minor honours, while the vote remains with Dugdale.
