Another difficult handicap for punters and we will take a chance with Valance, Monash Lad and Incursion also look to hold strong claims. Berkshire handler Charlie Egerton trains the selection who has put in some solid efforts on the flat and over the sticks over the last twelve months. He was an excellent second to Cold Turkey in a class two event in April, before disappointing in a hot race at Haydock won by Bullwark. He has been successful off this type of mark in the past and should go close at a decent price. Dandy Nicholls is better known for his work with sprinters, but he has a decent enough stayer here with Incursion. The pick of this season's form was an excellent second to Mr Majestic at Ripon and a repeat of that effort should see him gain some more place money. Monash Lad is in good heart and should well in his hat-trick bid. However the handicapper may now have him in his grasp. Of the others Bronze Dancer is from a yard in great form and is another to consider for each-way purposes, but on this occasion we will give the vote to Valance.
