Court Of Appeal is a consistent performer in this grade and gets the vote to complete a hat trick in plating class races with the main threats looking to be Thunderwing and Tedstale. The last mentioned has slipped down the handicap in recent seasons but Kevin Ryan's gelding lost no caste in defeat behind the well treated Mr Mischief at Southwell in a seller last time and has to be respected on that evidence. Exit Fast has given little real sign of encouragement of late and of more interest may be the John Weymes-trained Second Reef, who ran better than his finishing position suggests behind easy winner Rare Coincidence last time. Thunderwing has claims at the weights but has yet to confirm that he stays this far and a safer option looks to be Court Of Appeal, who is a consistent performer in this grade and gets the vote to win again.
