        Verdict

        Count Cougar has been a revelation this winter and must be in the the shake up today, however we will give the narrow vote to King's College Boy, with Melalchrist also expected to run well. The selection is a very capable sprinter on his day and is now down to a decent looking mark. He wasn't beaten far in a competitive race at Musselburgh on his return and he should be spot on for this. Melalchrist was fancied at Ripon recently and finished third in a blanket finish behind today's rival Colorus. At the weights today he should reverse form with that rival and should be thereabouts at the finish. Moremeatmick is steadily dropping down the weights and will be winning soon, but possibly not today, because we think this should fall to King's College Boy.
