Charles Parnell can complete a hat-trick at the expense of Rydane, Choysia and Choreography. Charles Parnell is in good form at present, having gained back-to-back victories at Ayr and over today's course-and-distance a fortnight ago. Strictly on the book he has little in hand over Rydane, whom he collared in the closing stages last time, but while respecting the claims of Tim Easterby's challenger, the selection is in such good heart at present that he has to be followed to defy the handicapper again. Choysia won over seven-furlongs here the time before last, before throwing away his chance at Thirsk four days ago by running very wide on the bend. He is not out of it, but faces a drop back in trip. Choreography showed signs of a return to form when third to Whitbarrow at Carlisle last month, and is not badly treated at present, but we remain loyal to Charles Parnell.
