Clueless is our pick with Lucayan Dancer and Torrens the alternatives. The dual purpose performer has had a distinctly disappointing season so far and this drop into the claiming sphere was something of a fait accompli. We will give him his run in the last chance saloon. Lucayan Dancer wins his share in spite of his obvious quirks. He comfortably held the measure of Torrens when the pair met at Redcar. Bocciani put up a career best at Beverley in a similar contest for Mark Johnson and won't be too far away on that evidence. Getrah had shown form some time ago when with Willie Haggas but needs to step up again for Chris Grant. Sudden Impulse is tried over further than is the norm. She probably is best with fast ground obtaining. Tidy has it to do at the figures but is watched at longer odds given the booking of Paul Hanagan. Treetops Hotel ran a fair race at Redcar behind Holiday Cocktail but makes more appeal on the all-weather these days. Lord Laing drops in grade though would have been much better off were this a handicap. Clueless gets the most token of selections.
