        Verdict

        BOLD MARC went close from a high draw last time and may be able to go one better. He may have most to fear from Shotley Mac and Grazeon Gold Blend. Karl Burke's runner made a bold bid to make every yard over course and distance a week ago but was nabbed close home by Shotley Mac. Plenty of use was made of him early as he made a move to get across to the rail from his high draw but that should be less of a factor in this smaller field. He has a 7lb claimer aboard this time and Shotley Mac has a penalty to carry which gives him a decent swing in the weights for his three quarters of a length beating. Grazeon Gold Blend took third in that contest and was staying on well in the final furlong; he has yet to win over seven but gives every impression that that success won't be long in coming. Zabeel Tower was another to race here last week and he has a bit to find whilst few of the remainder jump off the page; Bold Marc can take his revenge on Shotley Mac.
