This is a distinctly moderate contest and what can only be a tentative vote goes to STEEL STOCKHOLDER, who is the highest rated of these on official BHA ratings following a fair effort at Ripon last time Mel Brittain's colt is marginally preferred to Istiqdaam and Silk Gallery. Eric Alston's filly has shown improved form in her last two starts having been placed in each of them in maidens at Thirsk and Hamilton and she has to be respected in such a poor contest. Tim Easterby's Lost In Paris was well held in a maiden handicap last time but cannot be discounted, while Rae Guest's Minnola is less exposed than most of these. Kevin Ryan's Yes Please has only had three starts so far but needs to improve to trouble the judge, while Migliori is another similarly lightly raced and has to be considered. Mick Easterby's Istiqdaam has been dropped by the handicapper having been rated 66 and just qualifies for this now. He has to be strongly considered but preference is for Steel Stockholder.
