In depth

Verdict

Signore Piccolo has a 4lb penalty for scoring over the minimum at Wolverhampton but has won over this trip here and is on a very lowly mark nowadays. Sfumato gained his third track and trip success last month for which he's been raised 5lb. He had Alsvinder two lengths behind and should confirm the form and the latter was a couple of lengths behind HARD SOLUTION at Hamilton earlier. David O'Meara's charge finished last at Thirsk last month but that wasn't his form and should make a bold bid to gain his ninth career victory.
