In depth

Verdict

ENTWISTLE came here for a maiden over the trip last month and had few problems beating the strongly-fancied Cover Name. He's been handed a mark of 80 for is handicap debut and looks progressive enough to complete a double. Street Kid has been beaten three times off today's mark since scoring at Cork last August and could do with a couple of pounds off while it's difficult to know what to make of Genetique, a winner on soft ground at Longchamp in May before well beaten in a better race on a return visit. Captain Cooper's victory came on Tapeta at Newcastle though he's raced in better company than this subsequently but Toussarok finished last at Ayr a couple of weeks ago.
