        Verdict

        With an official rating of 96, SWEEPING should have no problems landing an ordinary maiden on this track. Archie Watson's colt wasn't beaten far in the Chesham at Ascot and appeared to find the ground too fast at Newmarket next time. Tim Easterby has three entries with David Allen on board Moonbi, who showed improvement from a moderate debut to finish fourth over the track and trip. However, Beltane looks best of those with experience having made a very promising debut behind the smart Aleezdancer at Carlisle in May. Animato is a half-brother to two winners and is one to keep an eye on.
