MAISON DIEU won well last time and Eric Alston's 6-year-old can win again at the main expense of Red Cape and Ryedane. The selection is racing off a career high mark here but he was good value for his winning margin at Ayr last time out when he beat Hamsomis and he looks to be improving with his racing. He has a good draw and he is taken to win again. Red Cape looks the biggest danger as he has course and distance winning form and the cut in the ground was probably against him at Newcastle on Friday. Under the circumstances it was a decent effort and he should be capable of getting competitive. Ryedane has been running well of late but there is the slight suspicion that the handicapper may now be catching up with him. Mark Johnston is in good form so My Gacho is another to consider, although the draw is far from ideal. Maison Dieu is in good form and he can win again.
