Verdict

Beach Break had shown promise over hurdles prior to his second in a Sedgefield maiden and goes on the short-list making his handicap debut. St George's Oval was runner-up in his first handicap at Huntingdon but has gone up 5lb since. Silk Run is a bit more exposed but still had every chance when hampered and unseating her rider last time at Ffos Las. THE PHANTOM made much of the running in a maiden at Uttoxeter last time before getting outpaced. There may be more to come and the slightly stiffer test in this should suit. Walk Waterford is having a first run under Rules in almost a year but market support would be significant.
