Goldstar Dancer should comfortably give weight and a beating to his rivals, the best of whom may be Diktatit, Negas and Dennick. There are plenty making their debuts over timber here, but on the evidence so far it is Goldstar Dancer that should make them all go. John Quinn's charge won like a good thing at Bangor a fortnight ago, eased near the finish to score by 10 lengths, and as he was a promising second here earlier on his debut over hurdles, it is hard to escape his claims despite a penalty. Diktatit finished second to the useful Fair Along on the same Bangor card in a race that was run in a faster time, but he was a sprinter on the Flat and does not make as much appeal. Negas failed to open his account on the level but comes from a top dual-purpose yard, while Dennick was also no great shakes on the Flat but hails from a very shrewd yard. All the evidence suggests however that Goldstar Dancer will be pretty tough to beat.
