End of An Error probably deserves to get his head in front and may well do so but he may still be a shade high in the weights and preference is for Peter's Imp, who gets the vote ahead of Star Trooper and Silver Dagger in an uninspiring contest. The selection hails from the Alan Berry stable that has a fine record with their runners here and today's faster surface will help the 10-year-old, who showed his current wellbeing on the level at Pontefract. Little Task reverts to the smaller obstacles after a disappointing display over fences last time and has to be considered along with Martin Todhunter's Very Tasty, who has ground conditions to suit. Al Mabrook has slipped to an attractive mark and is another worthy of a mention although a bigger threat is likely to come from Star Trooper. The nine-year-old is a consistent performer and can be expected to run his usual good race, while Silver Dagger represents the back-to-form yard of Jonjo O'Neill and has the undoubted assistance of Tony McCoy. Peter's Imp has, like a lot of the stable's horses, gone well here before though and he gets the vote.
