SUMMER SOUL won easily enough last time to suggest his penalty won't stop a repeat so we'll give Lucinda Russell's gelding the vote ahead of Sir Monty and Cash Man. Not always the most straight forward the pick put in a much improved run to win by 18 lengths last time. Based on that he's well-weighted so as long as he behaves himself he should follow up. Sir Monty is up 7lbs for his own success last time when he showed some rare grit to get up and score. He's not the most trust worthy as he often finds less than expected but if he is in the moods he looks a live one. Cash Man is in form having followed a victory at Hexham by finding the one too good over fences last time while Puy D'Arnac is lightly raced and if fit and well-schooled will be in with a shout off this mark. It's an open contest but Summer Soul should follow up.
