A wide open sprint handicap to round off proceedings and Mr Rooney is given the nod where stakes should be kept to a minimum. Mr Rooney has shown marked improvement in his four outings this season. Front running tactics were re-applied last time and if those are to be adopted once again, the selection might take some pegging back against the far side rail. A Big Sky Brewing is another that cannot be left from calculations but takes a marked step back in trip from 7f. He does show good pace but this 5f might just be on the sharp side. Lambency is another worthy of consideration, racing just 1lb higher for his last effort while Angelofthenorth has stall one to overcome here but is in fine form having landed a Musselburgh contest recently. A wide open event and Mr Rooney is the pick.
