        Verdict

        El Bobby, Favourite Girl and The Magic of Rio are the three to focus on here with Favourite Girl taken to come out on top in a tricky maiden where there is little solid form. Favourite Girl made an eye catching debut at Beverley, left at the start, but staying on in taking fashion to finish a highly respectable third. That was a promising effort, and she should not be inconvenienced by this faster ground and looks a threat to all. The Magic of Rio may not prove to be one of Willie Haggas' stars, but she has shaped well on both her starts, following up a respectable effort in a hot Ripon maiden with a placed effort at Wolverhampton. She has ability and can go well. El Bobby is running at this track for the third time, and showed much improved form to be second here recently. That was only a modest event however, and he was beaten over four lengths so is opposed. Favourite Girl can collect this contest.
