Bahama Baileys, Piccolo Pete and Our Sunnie are the three against the field in a typically open seller, and Bahama Baileys may be good enough at the weights. Second on the Turf at Southwell in handicap company in April, Piccolo Pete drops to selling grade for the first time here. He was disappointing in a Beverley handicap last time, but this is much easier and he can play a leading role. Having won a claimer here two outings ago, Our Sunnie was a modest performer in a Beverley seller over the minimum trip. Stepped up to seven furlongs here may be stretching his stamina but he can hit the frame. Winner of a Newcastle maiden as a juvenile, Bahama Baileys has failed to progress, despite running well in a York handicap. Dropped to this grade last time, Bahama Baileys ran well, only run out of it close home with Our Sunnie well beaten. Bahama Baileys has run respectably over this trip before, and with the yard landing a couple of races on Friday night, Bahama Baileys gets the vote.
