Verdict
A tricky opener and the arrival of the forecast rain would further complicate matters, particularly for our selection Yahwudhee as his pedigree suggests that he may want it fast. The Zamindar colt was the yard's second string on debut at Newbury but he ran well to finish fourth, just over a length behind his stablemate, despite racing too keenly. That appeared to be a decent maiden on paper and he may be able to put that experience to good use this afternoon. The well-bred Caro George didn't fare too badly on the polytrack at Lingfield and should improve as should Times Vital following his debut at Wolverhampton. Plum Asset and Spate River are others to bear in mind whilst support for Saintly Gaze would be of interest but we like the look of Yahwudhee here.
