Verdict
Some promising sorts in here but Liturgical may prove to be the best of them today. Desire To Excel sets the standard for them to aim at having shown distinct promise on his debut at Newmarket before finishing in midfield in a useful maiden at Salisbury. It could be argued that that run was a shade disappointing though and we're prepared to take him on as a result. Lucky Redback is one possible but he showed plenty of temperament on debut and may be best watched until proving more professional and Brae Hill could emerge as a bigger threat. The suggestion though is the runner from the Magnusson yard. Kerrin McEvoy boasts a decent strike rate for the Lambourn trainer and this half-brother to the smart Jack Junior did show ability on debut at Bath. He was very green in the early stages but the way that he ran on in the closing stages hinted at the promise of there being better to come and Liturgical is taken to step up to the plate today.
