Restless Genius, Steelcut and Dig Deep make the shortlist here with RESTLESS GENIUS getting the vote. Steelcut scored at Thirsk in April, but has been out of form since. However, he showed signs of a return to his best form last time when a decent fourth in a fair handicap, and he can hit the frame. Dig Deep has not won for well over a year, but ran the best race in his winless run when not beaten far into fourth behind a course specialist at Pontefract recently. He too looks to be running into form and can go close. Restless Genius scored on the all-weather recently, and has turned in two fine recent efforts in competitive handicaps on his latest runs. He is consistent and Restless Genius can get reward for those near misses.
