Nothing rock solid here but with a decent Catterick selling second last time out to her name it is DISPOL KABIRA who is selected ahead of Kanace and Venture Girl. She may be just out of the weights but the selection looked on good terms with herself when beaten behind Lord Fidelio earlier in the week and with the ground in her favour she should fare well. Kanace was backed to win at Bath last time out on his first run in a handicap and he shaped with promise. This track looks sure to suit if he can settle better in the race then he should run well. Lady Vyrnwy starts life with a plater's mark after three poor maiden runs, whilst Scooby Dee shaped fairly well in defeat last time out. Hedgerow is unexposed, Luv U Noo is potentially well-handicapped, whilst Dandarrell can improve with a reappearance run behind him. Venture Girl has a little to prove on but remains capable of better in her second season, whilst High Resolution and Coolella were both placed on their latest starts but both were some way behind the winner. Not a strong race and perhaps a chance for Dispol Kabira to gain just her second career win.
