Ace Of Spies will be popular after his Hamilton win however we are inclined to side with COOL ART ahead of Hansomis. John Wainright's gelding bounced back to form at Yarmouth last time out when a two length third to Rough Rock. He looks attractively handicapped on a mark of 52 and should run a big race with a talented amateur onboard. Distant Vision is fairly consistent and she is not to be ignored on this comeback to the track, Megalo Maniac would be interesting with the visor back on but enthusiasm is slightly tempered by being out of the weights, whilst Boxer Shorts needs a market check on this handicap and turf debut. Ryedane is a course winner and should be fit after two recent spins this year, Soto is fairly handicapped but inconsistent so can only be backed with confidence if the market agrees, whilst Hansomis is a course and distance winner and is handicapped to win off this mark of 60. Namir and Ponting are also fairly handicapped, whilst Tripbiyah is less exposed than many and hard to ignore on this seasonal reappearance. A 6lb higher mark doesn't rule out recent winner Ace Of Spies, however we will stick with Cool Art.
