ROYAL DIGNITARY is flattered by his run at Southwell last time but can still take this contest; Bolodenka and Kings Point join Moody Tunes on the list of dangers. Dandy Nicholls' gelding was an 11-length winner earlier in the month and his mark has been put up to 80 as a result. That mark flatters him but he knows how to win in this grade and if handling this quicker ground is taken to prevail. Stablemate Kings Point was fairly well-held in a decent claimer at Redcar when last seen in September, Moody Tunes is a course and distance winner and his consistency means that he is respected after a fine second to Camerooney last time out, whilst Rowan Lodge represents a trainer who places his horses very well and is not ignored despite having a bit to do at the weights. Bolodenka is dropping in grade today after a busy but ultimately fruitless spell this year; he is rated 77 and cannot be ignored given his good form in this sort of class in the past. An open race but we are happy to plump for Royal Dignitary.
