In depth

Verdict

A wide open bumper here and as usual in these events the market will prove all important but the principals look to be Tigers Lair, The Outlier, and Brooklyn Brownie and the vote goes to Tigers Lair. The selection was a good second last time out behind Lord Gale at Haydock and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. The Outlier rates the main danger on his debut second behind Stagecoachsapphire. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and he will not be far away. Brooklyn Brownie won well in this sphere a couple of runs ago but struggled under his penalty last time and for that reason he is opposed. Golden Oak is from a yard that does well in this sphere and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to the experienced Tigers Lair.
