Verdict

A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Sara Monica,Mandingo Chief, and The Pecker Dunn and the vote goes to Sara Monica. The selection is one of the least exposed in the field won well last time out when defeating Supreme Lass and with conditions again in his favour will be hard to beat. Mandingo Chief rates the main danger he also won well last time out when defeating Harry Collins but this looks more competitive and for that reason he is opposed. The Pecker Dunn is another that could go well he defeated Jonalton last time but that was on much softer ground and for that reason he is opposed. Solway Minstrel is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but looks to have plenty of weight so for the winner we return to Sara Monica.
