A wide open contest gets proceedings under way but the principals look to be Diamond Orchid, Once Seen,Montevideo and Famous Grouse and the tentative goes to the last mentioned. The selection was a fair sort on the flat and although very disappointing on his debut that was in a much better race and he pulled to hard for his own good. If he relaxes early on he could go well and he looks the value in an open affair. Diamond Orchid rates the main danger on her latest second behind Cupla Caired. She would have won last time out but for a bad mistake at the last. Once Seen is also worthy of respect he won well on his debut but disappointed last time for no apparent reason so it is hard to know what to expect. Montevideo is another that could go well he was a fair fourth behind Milord Lescribaa last time and has plenty scope for improvement. Of the remainder Kadam is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Famous Grouse.
