Just Superb, Borora, Wild Power and Eternal Night look the principles in the handicap hurdle and we will take a chance on Borora. The gelding from the Richard Lee yard was a good second last time behind Forzacurity at Hereford and should be capable of going one better here with conditions to suit. He has developed into a consistent sort and providing he jumps the obstacles well he will not be far away. Just Superb looks the main danger on his win at Warwick over Roofing Spirit in a conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle class F event. That was a decent effort but this looks tougher and he will have to improve again to win again. Wild Power is another in with decent claims if he can reproduce his latest effort when he was given a poor ride at Taunton behind Imtihan, while Eternal Night is not the most reliable sort but he would not be far away if he could get round; something he has failed to do on two if his last three starts. This is not an easy race to call, but we will make Borora the tentative selection.
