Verdict
Winning has not been a regular occurrence for most of this field in recent starts with Killane the notable exception with two wins from his last five starts. However, he's also fallen and run out so clearly has quirks. Nevertheless, he's taken seriously with trip and ground to suit alongside his proven ability to win. Penpal inevitably catches the eye after a promising effort here last time which followed a series of runs in which he'd shown practically nothing. He was well backed the last day too so maybe the corner has been well and truly turned. Malangen and Barnay are respected but this may be the time to row in with reliable maiden GO BOB GO to break his duck over timber.
