ASK THE DOC appeared to be beaten by a promising type at Doncaster earlier this month and the overall level of his form since joining Oliver Greenall - three seconds and a fourth - sets the standard here. This rates his best opportunity to date to get off the mark over timber. Stablemate Blackwell Boy is best watched after coming home out the back on hurdling debut and Forpaddytheplumber looks the likeliest danger, although he's yet to beat a rival in two hurdling starts after winning his bumper. Melvich Bay's best effort came in a Wetherby bumper two starts back but he too was well beaten on his first start over timber.
