The two newcomers make limited appeal, so Dispol Katie is fancied to get off the mark, with Truly Wonderful and Aliba the main dangers. The latter, an Ali Royal colt trained by Bryan Smart, showed plenty of speed on his debut when third at Hamilton, despite swerving at the start, and is likely to come on for the experience. Mick Channon's Truly Wonderful has also had just the one run, and this Highest Honour filly made some late progress on her debut when finishing sixth at Kempton, so is also entitled to improve. However, we'll side here with David Barron's Dispol Katie, who has shown in both of her races so far that she is capable of picking up a prize such as this. She shaped nicely enough when third on her debut at Thirsk over the minimum trip and returned from a small absence last week with a fair second to Demolition Molly at Ripon, with the third horse five lengths away. Dispol Katie is entitled to come on again for that run, and she gets the vote for us.
