Muzdaher has been found an easy opportunity to open his account and should do so, with Just Bond and Parchment the ones to chase him home. Mark Johnston's colt will have to go some to repay his purchase price, having cost $650,000 as a yearling, but after finding one too good on each of his first two outings, he should now be ready to do himself justice. The son of Danzig was sent off as favourite on his Beverley introduction in June but found the fitter Ashkal Way too strong as they hit the rising ground near the finish. The flatter contours of Haydock should have provided a winning opportunity next time, but this time he was thwarted by Roger Charlton's filly Strawberry Leaf who did him no favours by leaning across inside the final furlong. Dropped back a furlong now, Muzdaher should be spot on, and there can be no excuses if he fails. Just Bond has more experience but the level of form displayed by Bryan Smart's charge is not as good as that of the selection, while Parchment may appreciate the faster ground but is hard to make a strong case for. This is best left to Muzdaher.
