Having won this race from a seven-pounds higher mark last year, Jackie Kiely is taken to score again, with his biggest dangers possibly proving to be Willhego, United Spirit, Rasid, Desert Hawk and Karaoke. The selection, of course, has not been in such good form of late, hence his falling mark, but he showed enough on his latest run to suggest that a return to form is not a forlorn possibility. Up in trip tonight, Molem is a potential improver, while although he has yet to win a race, Desert Hawk has shown that he can run well from his current rating. Willhego is back to a winning mark and he'll appreciate a return to Turf also, while Giunchiglio is another potentially well-treated runner who hinted at a return to form last time. Rasid is well-weighted on his soft-ground winning form of last summer, while Karaoke is another that is back to a winning mark from last summer and holds claims. Finally, Fitting Guest is another that holds chances on last year's form, but we will stick with Jackie Kiely.
