Supreme Breeze is the pick over Gee Aker Malayo and Red Perk, with last year's winner Red Rampage worth a mention. Supreme Breeze has had just the two outings this year and should be spot on after his latest effort, a six length-second to Why The Big Paws over three miles here last month. Sue Smith's gelding is still nearly a stone higher than when scoring at Hexham last summer but in this company should make his presence felt. The proximity of out-of-the-handicap Three Company casts a bit of doubt on the win of Gee Aker Malayo at Folkestone, and he is still relatively inexperienced. Red Perk got bogged down in the very heavy going at Ayr last time but still finished third and seems to have recaptured his form, while Red Rampage goes for a third consecutive victory in this event, and if none the worse for his recent exertions in the Borders National at Kelso, he should be prominent for a long time. Supreme Breeze has been consistent enough though and can stop him from completing the hat-trick.
