Marsh Run is the pick over Native Coral, with Abzuson, Capybara and See You There making for a lively contest. This promises to be close, but with Marsh Run receiving weight from her other fancied rivals, she is taken to shade it today. Mick Easterby's six-year-old came good over hurdles on her first visit here a month ago when getting the better of a protracted battle with Diamond Sal. The feeling is that she will improve again over this longer trip, with plenty of stamina in her make up on the dam's side thanks to the influence of Ardross. Admittedly her task was made easier last time when Kingsbay departed, but she was resolute in victory and is taken to follow up. Former Irish point-to-point winner Native Coral capitalised on the fall of the odds-on Four Melons on his British debut at Ayr and has more to do this time. Abzuson handles a stiff right-handed finish as proved by his last three runs at Towcester where he chased home the useful Woodlands Genpower before beating Kingsbay. He appeared to idle in front when beaten by Litzinksy last time and more restraining tactics should see him play a part in the finish. Capybara did not jump that well when put over fences at Sedgefield last time but still finished second and has scope, while See You There was successful between the flags and hails from a yard that is having its best season. He is one for the future as well, and will find the more experienced Marsh Run too hot to handle surely.
