Le Biassais has the experience to beat Cash Bonanza, with Bollin Thomas and Overserved best of the rest in the opening race on the card. Le Biassais had amassed a sequence of seconds before finally coming good at Newcastle last month with a narrow victory over King Of Confusion. The time was slow in the tacky ground and he would be no good thing based on that effort alone. However, Len Lungo's charge had earlier chased home useful sorts Roman Ark here, and Bewleys Berry at Hexham, and those two runs alone should make him hard to beat. Nicky Richards did have Turpin Green entered for this, but relies instead on Cash Bonanza who is sure to have been well schooled. He is well thought of but unless he is something special, will struggle against the selection, even in receipt of seven-pounds. Bollin Thomas was successful four times on the Flat but has a job on to reverse form with Le Biassais on their Newcastle running, while Overserved, whose three career runs have all been at Kelso, is a future chaser in the making. Quite simply, Le Biassais should be well up to the task in hand.
